- Cornhenge in – There are many unique and fascinating things about the state of Ohio, but none as unique as the Cornhenge. Cornhenge is a kind of Stonehenge that was built by a local man in his backyard, but unlike its famous English counterpart, this cornfield was created as a tribute to Ohio and its agricultural heritage. The Field of Corn is located in a grove of orange trees northwest of Dublin in Scioto County. The corn is grown on a playing field that is 30 feet wide and 30 feet long, and about a mile from the main farmhouse.
- Healing Chapel in Coolville – If you’re looking for a unique experience in Ohio, then you may want to visit Coolville. The small, quirky Coolville Chapel is one of Ohio’s most unique destinations. The village is small and quiet, located in the northwest corner of the state, with a population of 171. Founded in 1902, the chapel has four pews, resulting in a capacity of four people. It is located at the corner of Elm and Sycamore Streets in the small village of Coolville, Ohio. The experience at this place is unique, as you get to enter and exit through the back of the chapel. Though it may be small, the chapel has made plenty of history, as it was the first in the state of Ohio to begin services back in the day.

While you have all your senses engaged, the Crystal Cave is filled with pieces of ancient Native American artwork and artifacts, including many items that were found in a nearby cave, which is the subject of frequent flooding. The Crystal Cave is one of the unique spots in Ohio and is a must-see when visiting the area. Its beauty, history, and natural beauty are hard to beat, and travelers and locals alike are always excited to visit.
- The Great Serpent Mound in Peebles, Ohio – The Great Serpent Mound is located in a naturally occurring mound of earth in the shape of a massive serpent. The mound is approximately 855 feet long, and at its widest point, the serpent is approximately 80 feet wide. It is the largest prehistoric earthwork in North America and one of the largest in the world. The mound, built by the Adena culture, was estimated to be built between 100 B.C. and A.D. 100. The Great Serpent Mound has been eligible for inclusion on the United State’s National Register of Historic Places since 1966 but is not considered a significant historic site.
